Scholarhips Awarded to Local Students

Leighton State Bank recently awarded $3000 dollars in scholarships to local graduates.  We offer these scholarships through the Dollars for Scholars program.  Two $500 scholarships were awarded to seniors at Pella High School, two $500 scholarships were awarded to seniors and Pella Christian High School, one $500 scholarship was awarded to a senior at Oskaloosa High School, and one $500 scholarship was awarded to a senior at Twin Cedars High School.  Preference for these scholarships is given to students or families who have banking relationships with Leighton State Bank.

“Leighton State Bank would like to congratulate these students on their hard work and academic success,” said CEO Steve Fopma. “We wish them the best in their future education.”
